Key Roles in TAO Complex Care
Support Workers
Our support workers are the backbone of TAO Complex Care. They work with clients in their homes or supported living environments, offering day-to-day assistance that boosts their independence and quality of life.
We look for individuals who are compassionate, adaptable, and genuinely passionate about care – people who can build trust, communicate well, and make clients feel safe and respected at all times. We understand that care is deeply personal, so we involve our service users in the hiring process to ensure a perfect match, not just in skills but in personality and vibe.
Their responsibilities may include:
- Emotional support, companionship, and promoting healthy social interaction.
- Teaching life skills and encouraging hobbies, friendships, and community engagement.
Management & Coordination Roles
Behind every great support worker is a strong structure of professionals, there to ensure that the care delivered meets the high standards that our clients and families have come to expect from TAO Complex Care. This internal team is also there to guide and support our front-line staff every step of the way.
- Registered Manager: Responsible for the overall management and quality of complex care services, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and leading the care team with clinical and ethical best practices.
- Care Coordinators / Account Managers: The bridge between our clients and our teams, they understand individual needs, match the right support staff, schedule care, and ensure everyone involved feels heard and supported.
Other Supporting Roles
- Referral Sources: Often the first link in the chain. Whether it’s a social worker, hospital discharge team, or a family making direct contact, referrals help us understand a client’s background, challenges, and goals from day one.
- Assessment Team: Works closely with clients and their families to build tailored care plans. These professionals ensure that every plan reflects the individual’s needs, lifestyle, and aspirations.
- Training Personnel: Including trusted partners like The Care School in Shipley, they ensure all team members receive the mandatory and specialist training needed to deliver safe, skilled, and responsive care.
- Compliance Team: Manages onboarding, registration, and ongoing support for staff to maintain their readiness and regulatory compliance.
- Bookings & Finance Team: A critical part of the engine room, handling staff scheduling, payroll, and invoicing to ensure a smooth operation across all fronts.
TAO. Together As One
At TAO Complex Care, our strength lies in our people. From compassionate support workers to the dedicated team behind the scenes, every role plays a part in creating a supportive, empowering, and high-quality care environment.
