What is
Complex Care?

Complex care means providing care for people who have chronic or long-term health conditions and disabilities. Patients with these conditions will require support and assistance managing their symptoms alongside help with many of their daily activities.

Here at TAO, the complex care our professionals provide is domiciliary, meaning we provide this care in the home of the patient or client. Our complex care covers most personal care activities. We provide complex care for children 16-18, adults 18-65 and those aged 65+. Conditions that may require complex care include:

  • Mental Health Conditions
  • Physical Disabilities
  • Dementia
  • Sensory Impairments
  • Learning Difficulties
  • Autism

We also provide care and support services for those living with:

  • Alzheimer’s
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Epilepsy
  • Palliative Care
  • Head/Brain Injuries
  • Auditory Impairment
  • Motor Neurone Disease

What Does it Entail?

The aim of domiciliary complex care at home is to support those we work with and help them achieve the highest quality of life possible. We strive to do everything we can to help our clients keep their independence by remaining in their own homes.

As a skilled Healthcare worker, you’ll deliver specialist care under the supervision and leadership of trained professionals. This care may include percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) feeding to stoma care, bowel management or tracheostomy care.
